Cultivating Community Resilience Together

We are a collaborative network of community partners committed to enhancing community resilience and sustainability. Through a shared dedication to supporting families, offering trauma-informed care, providing animal-assisted therapies, and addressing systemic barriers, we strive to create a more robust and compassionate community for all.

Our Programs

Livestock Guardian Dog Training

We provide specialized training for livestock guardian dogs, ensuring they effectively protect animals and support families in their roles. Our training also includes behavioral support for rescue animals.

Bueberry

Micro Urban Farming

Our micro urban farm cultivates medicinal herbs, native berries, and heirloom fruit trees, contributing to local food sovereignty. We engage the community in sustainable agricultural practices through hands-on learning.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Experience the therapeutic benefits of animal-assisted therapies designed to enhance emotional well-being and promote healing. Our trained therapy animals provide comfort and companionship to those in need.

Trauma-Informed Care

Our trauma-informed care services provide support to individuals and families, helping them heal and thrive in a safe environment. We prioritize understanding and addressing the impacts of trauma on well-being.

Sign at the Holloways Beach community garden in Cairns Australia. I think community gardens are a great idea, where people can socialise, which is good for mental health in these times of lock downs, as well as getting some exercise, sunshine and vitamin D, keeping their immune systems in good shape from exposure to soil micro organisms, and last but not least, growing some healthy food.

“The trees act not as individuals, but somehow as a collective. Exactly how they do this, we don’t yet know. But what we see is the power of unity. What happens to one happens to us all. We can starve together or feast together.”
